Building Blocks is one of Cal Poly SWE Robotics’s newest programs that introduces elementary and middle school students to topics such as computer science and electrical engineering! In order to maintain our infamous “learn by doing” element to this program, the students will solve fun coding and Arduino simulation challenges with the help of current Cal Poly engineering students. The event took place on December 2nd, 2023 from 9:00 am- 11:00 am at the Cal Poly Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL). The event had a winter theme where 15 elementary and middle school students learned how to program and circuit a Christmas tree to light up on a circuit board!
