On Saturday, April 25th, Cal Poly SWE held its second annual Transfer Retreat. Instead of a physical event, this year’s Retreat was held virtually via Zoom. Community college students from all over California were invited to the event to learn about engineering at Cal Poly SLO. The students heard from an Admissions representative, Mandy Martin, about the transfer process and what it takes to get into Cal Poly. The event also had a transfer panel with Cal Poly transfers and a staff panelist, Meghan Schuler-Jones, for the students to ask questions. To end the event, students heard from various Cal Poly clubs including Cal Poly Racing, Color Coded, CSAI, NSBE, Cal Poly SCE, SHPE, SEAOC, Transfer Center, and WISH.
